About this guide

Switching heroes should not mean searching through several pages to decide which perks to pick. Choose a hero to see two recommendations, the reasons behind them and when the alternatives fit better.

How we choose perks

• We check perk names, effects, values and selection stages against extracted Korean game data and other references. English names are checked against Blizzard’s English hero pages.
• Recommendations interpret how the documented effects can help in a match. Reviewed means that the effects, conditions and reasoning were checked, not that every hero was personally playtested.
• If a recommendation needs aim, timing or another condition, we explain it and offer an alternative.
• The game-data review date and English-text review date are shown on each hero page. If the source changes, its translation must be reviewed again.
• New drafts are marked under review. We aim to review affected heroes within seven days of a patch.
