Projected Barrier starts health regeneration for the ally and grants 20% more movement speed.
You already shield teammates in each fight, so this adds value without another input to learn. The shielded ally immediately starts regenerating health and moves 20% faster, helping a teammate under pressure escape while the barrier holds.

Zarya's damage depends on energy, which normally requires enemies to shoot her barriers. This perk lets beam hits build energy while a barrier is active, even if enemies ignore it. You must land those hits during the barrier window. If that timing is difficult, choose Energy Lance when enemies line up.
